It was two years, two kids and two houses ago since we’ve put up a recipe. We traded big city jobs with big hours for small town life with small children. Our food has gotten a little less fancy and a little more rustic. We’ve learned how to crank out a dinner in minutes that is healthy and tastes good, with a toddler helping to stir and a baby in Matthew’s arms.

Matthew’s heart is still in the kitchen, and we couldn’t wait for the dust to settle so we could revive Fig & Fork.

We’re in the kitchen every night, cooking, tasting, loving. Until the next post (with new recipes!!!) we’ll leave you with some photos that tell the story of the past few months.
